How to set up

Four steps.

1

Download and install the software

Run the installer on any Windows computer in the home. It walks you through everything automatically. View the full installation guide ›

2

Set up your cameras

We recommend Tapo cameras — inexpensive, easy to mount, and work great with SafetySense. Download the Tapo app, add your cameras, and create one shared username and password for all of them. Mount them in key rooms.

3

Create your account

Enter your name, email, and phone number for alerts. No credit card. Create account ›

You are live

SafetySense is now watching quietly in the background. If a fall is detected your family gets a text and email within seconds.

What you need

Works on what you have. Works better with the right hardware.

SafetySense runs on any Windows computer. The more processing power you have, the more cameras you can run — and the more of the home you can cover.

A GPU (graphics processing unit) is a chip inside some laptops that handles heavy visual tasks much faster than a standard processor. The more cameras you add, the more a GPU helps. Think of it as the engine that keeps everything running smoothly when multiple cameras are watching at the same time.

Good

Any Windows computer

Start today with what you already own. Supports up to 4 cameras, though detection speed depends on your processor.

Use what you have
Better

Your existing laptop with GPU

If your personal computer already has a GPU it can handle up to 20 cameras — depending on what else you have running on it.
