SafetySense Installer Agreement

By selecting “I Agree” or by installing/using the software and services provided by SafetySense Inc. (“SafetySense”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy linked below.

This installer provides links to the full agreements hosted by SafetySense. Please review them carefully before proceeding.

Key Points (Summary – not a substitute for the full terms)

  • Service scope: SafetySense provides AI-assisted monitoring to help detect potential falls and other events. It is not a substitute for 911 or emergency services, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local number). Alerts may be delayed or not received. (See Terms §1.)
  • Accounts & responsibilities: You must keep your account information accurate and use the service in compliance with applicable laws, including notification/recording laws when using cameras or audio/video features. (See Terms §§2, 6.)
  • Hardware/software & updates: Some features require compatible cameras and a local computer. You are responsible for internet/power/network. SafetySense may provide updates. (See Terms §3.)
  • SMS program: Transactional texts (e.g., alerts, device status, OTPs, onboarding, tests). Opt out anytime by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. Message frequency is event-driven; carrier delivery is not guaranteed; message/data rates may apply. (See Terms §4.)
  • Fees & billing (if applicable): Some features may be paid. Non-payment can suspend service; you can cancel future billing via account or support. (See Terms §7.)
  • Warranties & liability: Service provided “as is.” Liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the prior 12 months, to the maximum allowed by law. (See Terms §§8–9.)
  • Privacy: Local-first by design; video is processed on your on-premise computer by default. See Privacy Policy for what we collect (account/contact, device/diagnostics, event/alert metadata, optional cloud clips), how we use/share data, retention, and your choices/rights. (See Privacy Policy.)
  • Region-specific rights: US (CPRA/VA/CO etc.), EEA/UK (GDPR), Canada – rights to access/correct/delete/port data and submit requests. (See Privacy Policy.)
  • Changes: SafetySense may update the Service or these policies and will provide reasonable notice for material changes. Continued use means acceptance. (See Terms §12; Privacy “Changes.”)

Consent to SMS Alerts (If You Opt In)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to:

  • Receive transactional texts for alerts, device status, account security (OTPs), onboarding, and tests.
  • Message frequency is event-driven; message/data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed/undelivered messages.

Emergency Notice

The Service does not contact emergency services. If you need emergency assistance, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.
